Rohingya ethnic massacre in Myanmar

I noticed the presence of this so-called "Rohingya" ethnic since I studied in my first degree in Penang. I saw their women and children begging at the Butterworth bus station. They even beg to passengers in the bus before it departs out of the station.

I think British did not do a proper preparation when they leave Myanmar unlike what they had done in Malaysia and Singapore where all of those social contracts and political process were conducted in an elaborate manner. I bet those who mumble about this issue know nothing about Myanmar's colonial period, political system and thought. They are also ignorant about how their country runs and they still have the gut to talk about others' countries. Myanmar received its independence from the Great Britain on 4 January 1948.

Monitoring in 2017

I think it would take time and space to open up new space for media monitoring on this particular issue. Why not we just continue here?
